OLD TOWN NEEDLEWORK

June 2010 Newsletter

Friends of Old Town Needlework:

It’s hard to believe we are rapidly approaching our 1 Year Anniversary of owning and operating Old Town Needlework. We thank each of you for your continued support and friendship.

The past nine months have been busy and fruitful. We’ve attended two markets, sponsored two Camp Wannastitch Retreats, introduced new fibers and new designer canvases, held Trunk Shows, and initiated our Cheryl Schaeffer Light Bulb Ornament Club and our Halloween “BOO” Club featuring canvases by Associated Talents. We’ve hosted Joan Lohr and Margaret Bendig who shared their design talents with us during our classes. The “behind-the-scenes” activities have been numerous. We hope the result has been to offer you a complete selection of cross-stitch designs, needlepoint canvases, fibers, embellishments and stitching accessories and to provide you quality customer service in a relaxing and enjoyable environment. Please know that we welcome your feedback and suggestions.

We’ve enjoyed planning our calendar for summer, 2010 and we have much to offer.

Saturdays, 5:00 pm

June 19th ~ July 31th ~ August 28th ~ September 18th

We have four incredible designs for charted needlepoint. Each kit includes canvas, stitch guide and fibers. Classes are scheduled for the months of June, July, August and September. You can order the kits which will be shipped after the class date. Call to let us know your color preferences. The cost for each class kit will vary but will range from $20.00 to $30.00, fully kitted.

Petei’s canvases will arrive in August. Her Santa/Father Christmas canvases are fun to stitch.

Stitch guides by Linda Corrirossi are available for many of Petei’s Santas.
